Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This warranty is in addition to, and does not exclude, restrict, or modify, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Who gives this warranty

This voluntary warranty is given by FABULLA PTY LTD trading as VODAi Bidets (ABN 75 654 664 874) (“we”, “us”, “VODAi”).

Warranty claims: support@vodai.com.au

2. What is covered

Subject to these terms, we warrant that each VODAi product (Z1, B5, and P80s) you purchase from us will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use for three (3) years from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers the product only. It does not cover labour for installation, removal, reinstallation, or any installation by a plumber or other tradesperson, including one we referred you to.

3. When the warranty starts

The warranty period starts on the date of purchase shown on your tax invoice or order confirmation. It does not start on the install date.

Keep your proof of purchase. We may ask for it (and the product model / serial number) before assessing a claim.

4. What we will do

If a covered defect appears during the warranty period, we will (at our option, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law):

  1. repair the product or the defective part;
  2. replace the product or the defective part with the same or a reasonably equivalent product or part; or
  3. refund the purchase price (or a fair portion if only part fails),

in each case as appropriate to the defect and your remedies under the Australian Consumer Law.

If your product is faulty, we’ll arrange the return and cover the reasonable cost of sending it back to us. Remedies for a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited by this clause.

5. What is not covered

This voluntary warranty does not cover (without limiting your rights under the Australian Consumer Law):

  • Damage from misuse, accident, neglect, or failure to follow the Installation & User Manual
  • Installation, alteration, or repair by a person who is not a suitably licensed tradesperson where licensing is required
  • Use outside Australia or other than normal household use
  • Consumables and wear items that deplete with normal use (for example filters, where fitted), once worn through normal use
  • Cosmetic wear, scratches, or discolouration that do not affect function
  • Damage from incorrect water pressure, unsuitable water quality, power supply outside the rated specification, or acts of nature
  • Products sold as ex-display, refurbished, or “as is” where that status was disclosed at sale
  • Labour or call-out costs for diagnosis on site, reinstallation, or installation by a plumber or other tradesperson, including one we referred you to (unless required as part of a remedy we owe you under the Australian Consumer Law)

Nothing in this section excludes or limits guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. How to claim

Email support@vodai.com.au with:

  • Order number or proof of purchase
  • Model (Z1 / B5 / P80s) and serial number (if available)
  • Description of the issue and when it started
  • Photos or a short video if safe and useful

We will confirm next steps (troubleshooting, return for assessment, repair, replace, or refund path).

Changed your mind about an unopened Z1 or B5 seat? That isn’t a warranty claim. See our Refunds & Returns policy for change of mind returns.

7. Installation by a licensed plumber

If a licensed plumber installs your product, your installation contract is with the plumber, who gives their own workmanship warranty. Install labour, workmanship and related call-outs are outside this three-year product warranty, unless the Australian Consumer Law requires a different outcome for a product defect we are responsible for.

Product defects remain covered under this warranty and the Australian Consumer Law regardless of who installed the product, provided installation was not the cause of the failure under section 5.

8. Transfer

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and may transfer with the product to a later owner for the remainder of the three-year period if they can still show the original proof of purchase and the product identity (model and serial).

9. Governing law

These warranty terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply as provided by law.
