Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this Shipping policy excludes, restricts, or modifies those rights. If goods arrive damaged or we send the wrong item, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and our Refunds & Returns policy still apply.

1. Where we ship

We ship Australia-wide to delivery addresses within Australia that Australia Post can service.

We do not currently offer international shipping unless we expressly say so for a specific order.

2. Shipping options and costs

Shipping is free across Australia on product orders placed on vodai.com.au.

If an order includes a P80s, the P80s ships separately by free freight, so the items may arrive on different days.

3. Carrier and delivery timeframes

  • Carrier: Australia Post
  • Timeframe: delivery usually takes 3 to 5 days after dispatch to most metro addresses. Dispatch times are in section 4.

The P80s ships by freight, so delivery can take longer than the timeframe above. We email tracking or delivery details once it’s dispatched.

After dispatch we send tracking details to the email on your order when Australia Post provides them.

Remote, regional, or restricted-access addresses may take longer. If we cannot deliver to your address, we will contact you at support@vodai.com.au to arrange an alternative or a refund of the product price.

4. Dispatch

Orders are prepared for dispatch after payment clears and stock is allocated. If we can’t dispatch your order within a reasonable time, for example because of a stock delay, we’ll email you with a new dispatch estimate. You can then choose to wait or cancel for a full refund of what you paid. Larger or heavier items may ship as Australia Post freight rather than a small parcel; tracking and delivery rules still follow Australia Post.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and a contact phone number for delivery.

5. Delivery

Where Australia Post requires a signature or leaves a card for collection, someone 18 or older should be available, or you should follow Australia Post’s collection instructions. If a delivery fails because of an incorrect address or failed contact attempts, we will contact you before arranging re-delivery.

Risk of loss or damage generally passes on delivery to your address, except where we remain responsible (for example our packing error, or transit damage we are responsible for under the Australian Consumer Law or our Refunds & Returns policy).

6. Damaged, missing, or wrong items

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or wrong:

  1. Keep all packaging and photograph the issue.
  2. Email support@vodai.com.au within a reasonable time of delivery with your order number and photos.
  3. We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate under the Australian Consumer Law and our Refunds & Returns policy.
  4. You should not be out of pocket for our packing or shipping error, or for transit damage we are responsible for.

7. Installation and shipping

Shipping is for the product. Optional installation through licensed local plumbers (Greater Sydney, about 100 km only, quoted by the plumber after enquiry) is separate and is not included in free product shipping. Customers outside that area, or who prefer their own tradesperson, receive product-only delivery.

8. Returns shipping

For products that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, follow Refunds & Returns. If we need the product back, we cover the reasonable cost of returning it.

For a change of mind return of an unopened Z1 or B5 seat, email support@vodai.com.au with your order number first, then post it to VODAi Bidets, PO Box 6033, Alexandria NSW 2015. You pay the return postage, and the seat is your responsibility until it reaches us, so we suggest a tracked service. See Refunds & Returns.
