Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies those rights. Our voluntary warranty and returns policy give you additional rights and do not replace the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Who we are

These Terms apply to purchases from VODAi Bidets, operated by FABULLA PTY LTD (ABN 75 654 664 874) (“we”, “us”, “VODAi”) via vodai.com.au and related channels we operate in Australia.

2. Agreeing to these Terms

By placing an order on our website, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping policy, Refunds & Returns policy, and Cookie Notice. If you do not agree, do not order.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one on the site when you complete checkout. Material changes will be posted with an updated date.

3. Products and descriptions

We sell electronic bidet seats and smart toilets for Australian households (including Z1, B5, and P80s). Descriptions, images, and dimensions on the site are provided in good faith. Colour and finish may vary slightly from photos.

Fit depends on your toilet pan and bathroom. You can use our Check fit page, or email support@vodai.com.au and we’ll help you choose. Change of mind returns are available for unopened Z1 and B5 seats within 30 days of delivery, as set out in our Refunds & Returns policy. If a product doesn’t match its description or the fit information we gave you, you have rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where we list WaterMark, SAA or WELS details, we show only the numbers issued for that product. We do not claim certifications a product does not hold.

4. Prices and GST

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless we clearly say otherwise. List prices shown on the site are GST-inclusive.

At cart and checkout, amounts are shown in AUD inclusive of GST. We may change prices for future orders. The price for your order is the price shown at checkout when you pay.

5. Orders and payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order (for example if stock is unavailable, there is a pricing error, or we suspect fraud). If we cancel after payment, we refund you.

Payment is taken through our checkout providers. Title to goods passes when we receive full payment and dispatch the order (or as required by law). Risk of loss or damage passes on delivery to the address you gave us, except where we remain responsible under the Shipping policy or the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Shipping

We offer free shipping across Australia on product orders, on the terms in our Shipping policy (Australia Post; delivery usually takes 3 to 5 days after dispatch to most metro addresses).

International shipping is not offered unless we expressly state otherwise.

7. Optional installation through licensed local plumbers

Buying a product does not require you to use a plumber we refer you to. Products ship Australia-wide for self-managed install by a suitably licensed tradesperson where required.

Optional installation is available only in Greater Sydney (about 100 km) through licensed local plumbers. You send us an enquiry and we pass it to a licensed local plumber, who quotes you directly. If you go ahead, your installation contract is with the plumber, who sets the price, invoices you, takes payment and gives you their own workmanship warranty. VODAi does not quote, set or guarantee install prices, or take payment for installation. Install labour and workmanship are outside our three-year product warranty. If you have a problem with the installation, contact the plumber first. You can also email support@vodai.com.au and we’ll help you reach them.

8. Returns, refunds, and warranty

Refunds & Returns: we accept returns of products that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose under the Australian Consumer Law, at our cost. You can also return a Z1 or B5 seat for a change of mind within 30 days of delivery if the box is unopened and every part is still inside. You pay the return postage, and we refund the price you paid for the seat to your original payment method. The P80s can’t be returned for a change of mind. You can cancel any order for a full refund before it’s dispatched. Change of mind returns don’t limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. See Refunds & Returns.
Warranty: voluntary three-year warranty on the product only, starting on the date of purchase. See Warranty. Install labour and workmanship are excluded from that warranty.

9. Acceptable use

You must provide accurate delivery and contact details, be able to accept delivery in Australia, and not misuse the site (including scraping, fraud, or interfering with checkout).

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss that is not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss caused by your misuse, unlicensed installation where a licence is required, or failure to follow the Installation & User Manual. Installation work is supplied by the plumber or tradesperson you contract with, not by VODAi. Our liability for any supply of goods that is not a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law is limited, at our option, to repair, replacement, or refund of the goods, as the Australian Consumer Law allows.

11. Privacy

We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The courts of New South Wales (and appellate courts) have non-exclusive jurisdiction. You may also have rights under the Australian Consumer Law and other Australian laws that cannot be waived.
