1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how FABULLA PTY LTD trading as VODAi Bidets (“we”, “us”, “VODAi”) collects, holds, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit vodai.com.au (including our storefront and checkout), buy our products, enquire about install, or otherwise contact us.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and other applicable Australian law.

2. What personal information we collect

Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact: name, email, phone, delivery and billing address, suburb and postcode
  • Order and payment: products ordered, order history, payment confirmation (card details are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers)
  • Install and fit enquiries: photos, measurements, and property notes you send us
  • Account and marketing preferences: if you create an account or opt in to emails
  • Support: messages, warranty or fault details, and attachments you send
  • Referral program: referral codes and related order eligibility data you or a referee provide
  • Technical: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Notice)

We generally collect information directly from you. We may also receive information from payment, shipping, hosting, analytics, and customer-support providers who process data on our behalf.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 15. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

3. Why we collect and use it

We collect and use personal information to:

  • Process and fulfil orders and deliveries
  • Provide customer support, warranty, and returns handling
  • Respond to fit and install enquiries and pass install enquiries to a licensed local plumber
  • Operate accounts, carts, and the referral program
  • Improve our website and products (including analytics, where you have consented to non-essential cookies)
  • Send marketing communications where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law (you can opt out anytime)
  • Detect fraud, secure our systems, and meet legal obligations (including tax and consumer law)

If you do not provide information we need for an order or enquiry, we may not be able to complete that transaction or help you.

4. Disclosure of personal information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Service providers who help us run the business (for example hosting, e-commerce and checkout, payment, shipping and carriers, email, analytics, and IT support)
  • Licensed local plumbers we pass your install enquiry to, so they can contact you and quote
  • Professional advisers and insurers where reasonably necessary
  • Regulators, courts, or enforcement bodies when required or authorised by law

Some providers may store or access data outside Australia. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, including contractual protections where appropriate.

We do not sell your personal information.

If you write a product review, we publish it on our website with the name you choose to show. We use Judge.me to send review request emails after your order ships and to host reviews. To do this, we share your name, email address, order number and the products you ordered with Judge.me. If you leave a review on our website, Judge.me collects your name, email address and review, and publishes your review with your name as you entered it, or as anonymous if you choose. Judge.me and its service providers store and process this information overseas, mainly in the United States. You can unsubscribe from review emails at any time using the link in the email, or ask us to remove your review by emailing support@vodai.com.au.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the cart, site function, security, analytics, and marketing. Non-essential analytics and marketing cookies run only after you opt in. See our Cookie Notice for detail and choices.

6. Direct marketing

We may send you product news and offers by email if you opt in, or as otherwise permitted by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the Privacy Act. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe option. Transactional messages (order, shipping, warranty) are not marketing and may still be sent.

7. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law, then take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

8. Access, correction, and your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading.

Depending on the circumstances, you may also ask us to limit certain uses, or to delete information we no longer need (subject to legal retention).

To exercise these rights, email support@vodai.com.au. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by the Privacy Act.

9. Complaints

If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first at support@vodai.com.au so we can try to resolve it.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be notified by email where appropriate.
